With a history of hard work and major achievements, the Miracema-Nuodex chemical company has reached its 55th anniversary with 203 direct employees and 64 outsourced workers, offering a portfolio of 300 products and services in the Brazilian market while exporting to customers on five continents.
Founded in 1954, the company has always sought to be diversified. For example, it produces additives for industrial lubrication oils and supplies inputs for international oil companies that, over this period of time, have begun in Brazil.
During the 1970s, when penetrating the export market was a nearly impossible dream for the majority of Brazilian companies, it already was a reality for Miracema-Nuodex.
At the same time, the company entered the paint market, beginning to manufacture drying products after the acquisition of Nuodex Brasil S.A.
With the expansion of the business, in about 10 years between 1974 and the middle of the 1980s the industrial area of the company was expanded from 11,000 m3 to 93,000 m3 to the acquisition of a neighboring property.
The result of an innovative vision, Miracema-Nuodex invested in a number of laboratories (microbiology, paint applications, oil well drilling fluid applications, quality control and, most recently a mining lab). The company also invested in new technologies, such as Thin Film Evaporator, modern equipment of German origin for the molecular distillation of fatty acids.
Because it has a very highly trained and specialized group of employees, close support its customers through a modern corporate structure, the company began to be responsible for offering precise physical-chemical and microbiological analysis services to its customers, hoping the strictest Brazilian and international standards and in compliance with the specific requirements of each client.
Throughout its history, Miracema-Nuodex invested in a series of measures favoring the environment. Among its projects was the modernization of its liquid effluent treatment station, the construction of a new gaseous effluent treatment station and the management and control of wastes, thus guaranteeing the safety of its operations and protection of the environment.
Certainly, this is the new challenge for the company: to pay close attention to the transformations and changes of today’s world with the same competence, modern technology and continued focus on what has made the company one of the highlights of the resilient and international markets — close partnerships with its clients. |
