Once again, Miracema-Nuodex was awarded a prize in the Biocides category. At the same event, Dr. Otto Rohr received special recognition and the Personality-Supplier title.
In its 13th running, the Paint & Pintura Prize once again was awarded to Miracema-Nuodex, in the Biocides category. The awards ceremony was held May 15 at the Monte Líbano Events Space in São Paulo. On the occasion, Dr. Otto Rohr, lifetime president of the Miracema-Nuodex Partners Council, was honored with the Personality-Supplier title as well as receiving special recognition at the event.
Some 1,000 representatives from the paint industry participated in the event, organized to recognize the most outstanding companies and professionals from the sector from the previous year.
Sérgio Ávila, director of Ávila-Agnelo Editora, paid special homage to Dr. Rohr, who in 2008 stood down from his position as president and CEO of Miracema-Nuodex, becoming the lifetime president of the Miracema-Nuodex Partners Council. “Dr. Otto not only has left us a healthy company with a 50 year tradition in the market and a notable place in the Brazilian chemical industry. Without question, his legacy is much greater, because it stimulates and encourages qualities such as leadership, intuition and entrepreneurialism,” he said during his homage.
The Survey
The 13th Paint & Pintura Suppliers Survey revealed who were the paint companies’ preferred suppliers in 37 different categories of inputs.
The survey also indicated personalities in nine different categories; the best paint companies in seven segments; as well as the Best Advertisement of the Year and the Master Company — that which obtained the greatest number of points in all the categories.
