Votorantim Metais Níquel, Petrobras, Cargill, Elekeiroz and Greif Embalagens were selected under assessment criteria developed by Miracema-Nuodex to receive the Supplier of the Year Prize – 2009 in their categories. The awards recognized the best suppliers in terms of fundamental requirements, efficiency in the supply of inputs and packaging excellence over the past year.
Launched in 2005, the Supplier of the Year Prize was conceived of to demonstrate Miracema-Nuodex’s appreciation for the effort and commitment of its suppliers who, through quality raw materials and packaging, have effectively helped Miracema reach increasingly higher levels of product quality.
Besides the items that traditionally are evaluated, the quality, punctuality, technical and packaging documentation, commitment and dedication of the entrants were also assessed to choose the winners. “Furthermore, this award represents the strengthening of our ties with our partners over the years,” said Antonio Carlos Coral, Supplies manager for Miracema-Nuodex.
The “Supplier of the Year Prize” is divided into five categories: Chemical Products; Metals and By-Products; Solvents; Acidic Greases, Oils and Fats; and Packaging.
