The traditional Miracema-Nuodex cocktail party-annual dinner was held on December 1st at the Club Transatlântico, in São Paulo, with the presence of 250 guests, including friends, employees, clients and company suppliers.
The event traditionally has been held on the first Thursday in the month of December, but this time was on a Monday, to coincide with President Otto Rohr’s 75th birthday.
In his speech, Dr. Otto emphasized his decision to resign his position as a member of the company’s Board of Directors and to remain only as Lifetime Chairman of the Administration Council. He also expressed appreciation of the support, loyalty, prestige and comradeship of Miracema’s extensive group of friends.
Also at the event five companies were awarded “Suppliers of the Year 2008 Prizes” for outstanding services to Miracema. These included:
